Day 9: Family, Nature, and Group Coaching Prep

Today was a day to recharge and enjoy the outdoors with my family. We spent the morning cross-country skiing and capped it off with a fire—a perfect way to reconnect with nature and each other.

Tasks for the Day

  1. Family Time Outdoors: We hit the ski trails for a 6K loop (about 3.5-4 miles) and wrapped up the day with a cozy fire.

  2. Group Coaching Prep Form: After the outdoor activities, I focused on finalizing the prep form for the group coaching calls. This form will help participants reflect and prepare before each session.

Results

  • Outdoor Time: The time spent outdoors was rejuvenating. It reminded me of the importance of integrating nature into my routine for balance and perspective.

  • Group Coaching Prep: I made significant progress on the prep form, which will serve as an essential tool for the upcoming coaching calls.

Lessons from Day 9

  • Nature’s Recharge: Being in nature, especially with family, has a grounding and recharging effect. I’m taking note to integrate more outdoor experiences like today into my regular schedule.

  • The Power of Prep: Taking time to thoughtfully design the group coaching prep form reinforced how important preparation is for meaningful and productive sessions.

Obstacles

For the first time in this series, there were no major obstacles. Today was seamless—a “memory bank day,” as my dad would say.

Takeaways

As I continue this project, I’m reminded to balance work with moments that truly matter. Days like today are a blueprint for the kind of intentional life I want to create.
